How to Get Food Remember! We need photo ID and proof of residency on your first visit of the year (each year) - even if you have been here before.
The food bank operates completely on donations from our sponsors and by patrons who come to shop by suggested donations. The donations are used to buy pallets of food for the next week. We do not get to choose the food so it's kind of like unwrapping a Christmas present each week. What we receive is always a surprise! We use the food to make emergency boxes of food or sack lunches for individuals and families and to stock shelves for shoppers. Every January, or the first time you visit each year, each person will need to fill out a half sheet with name, address, phone number, and number of people in the household. Only those coming for an emergency box of food need photo ID and proof of residency.
Shop by Donation
Just like any other small store, shoppers go through and choose what they want to put in their carts. Every item has a suggested donation amount. There is no Id required and no limit to how many times you shop each year.
